The Rules for Successful TV Programs with Choirs
Singing in a choir brings not only joy for the singer, but also great pleasure for the audience. Even when we cannot sit in a concert hall, we always find a way to tune in, whether it is from the screen of a mobile, laptop, or TV set.
Now, what if your choir was given the unique chance to perform for a prime-time TV program? How will you make sure that your programming will captivate the attention of millions of people?
Packed with hints and tips from a successful TV producer, this class will teach you how to stage choir singing for a successful TV program.
Ieva is head of culture at the Latvian Television and former executive producer of both editions of the Eurovision Choir Competitions, broadcast live in more than ten countries of the EBU member TV channels and streamed worldwide. She had to compete with her choir program, among others, with the finals of the soccer Super Cup, so it was a tough challenge concluded quite successfully.
Her career includes other important experiences as cultural journalist, producer and editor, cultural project manager, and TV host.
