The Creative Evolutionist:
Musician, Educator, Technologist, Conductor, Strategist, Psychologist
November 30, 2021 at 19:00 CET (Online Session)
Now more than ever music educators need to be all-round specialists. The creative evolutionist is a pioneer in this new world, navigating education and meaning on an entirely new level. No longer can a musician be one thing, we need to be everything: always adapt, constantly learn, evolve, think out of the box.
These are strange, yet exciting times: Opportunity is calling! The question is: Will you answer?
Michael Joseph Barrett is the director of Choral Activities at the University of Pretoria, the conductor of the Tuks Camerata, co-owner of South Africa’s largest community choir (the Capital Singers), and a senior lecturer in Choral Conducting in the Department of Music.
