Cancellation and Refund Policy

The participation fee is partially refundable:

80% refund for cancellations up to four months before the event

50% refund for cancellations up to two months before the event

20% refund for cancellations up to two weeks before the event

No refund for cancellations within the last two weeks before the event

We offer a Free Cancellation Option for 9 EUR. This allows the possibility to get a full refund in case of cancellation up to four weeks before the event.

Fringe Events
We are pleased to offer additional programs during the festivals so that we can spend time together also beside rehearsals.
You can reserve your seat through a reservation link, which will be sent to all participants approximately two months before the event.

 Arrival Time for Rehearsals
Please pay attention to the specified arrival times for rehearsals.
For the first rehearsal of each project, we kindly ask you to arrive one hour early to simplify check-in procedures. You will receive a button from our team identifying you as part of the festival.
For all other rehearsals, we recommend arriving at least 30 minutes in advance.

Due to tight venue schedules, our team can only prepare the rehearsal or concert venue shortly before your arrival, so we might not be able to welcome you before the given time.

Luggage:

Please avoid bringing suitcases to rehearsals or the concert. We frequently encounter issues with luggage, as rehearsal and concert halls are often too small or lack supervised cloakrooms. The cloakroom at the Philharmonie Berlin does not accept suitcases or larger bags. A good alternative is the lockers at Potsdamer Platz station. Small backpacks or handbags are absolutely fine.

Tickets: 

Your seat in the Philharmonie: You will get a standard ticket (with block, row, and seat number according to your voicing placement). This will be sent to both participants and accompanying persons approximately six weeks before the event.

Please keep your ticket during all festival days to make the registration process easier and to find your seat the day of the concert.

You can print the PDF version of your ticket or simply keep it available on your smartphone.

Dress Code 

The dress code for our concerts is all-black attire. This means you can wear black pants with a black top, or a black dress or suit with a shirt. 

Choir ensembles can keep their own concert attire, creating a mix of different ensembles that fits well with the format of this event. 

Sheet Music Folder 

A black folder is the best option for holding your sheet music. It looks professional and practical, though it is not mandatory, but we always strive for the best – here and everywhere else.
