Berlin Choral Course 2026
organised by the World Choir, in association with Choralspace
We are pleased to support the World Choir as a local partner in delivering its Berlin Choral Course 2026.
The World Choir brings together singers from around the globe for intensive rehearsal residencies in selected locations. The Berlin course offers participants the opportunity to work on an ambitious and diverse repertoire under internationally renowned artistic direction, while experiencing the unifying power of choral music in a truly international ensemble.
Repertoire 2026
At the heart of the programme is Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem, complemented by a stylistically diverse selection of works:
- Waloyo Yamoni (Christopher Tin)
- Indodana (Trad. isiXhosa, arr. Michael Barrett)
- Sleep (Eric Whitacre)
- Os Justi (Anton Bruckner)
About the World Choir
The World Choir is a global choral community with tens of thousands of singers worldwide. As the organising body, it creates and delivers international projects that connect people across borders through collective singing, collaborating with leading artists in the choral field.
Artistic Direction
The course is led by the World Choir’s founders:
Tori Longdon, an internationally active conductor and choral director, and
Jamie Wright, singer, conductor, and member of the Grammy-winning vocal group The Swingles.
