Antonín Dvořák’s moving Stabat Mater is the centerpiece of our Passiontide project. Its choral movements unfold sorrow and hope in meditative and overwhelming beauty.
For this performance, a 360° choir will be formed with participants from around the world. The project is under the artistic direction of Marion Wood.

What do we sing?
Antonín Dvořák: Stabat Mater, Op. 58

Participating choirs and ensembles also have the opportunity to present their own repertoire in various concerts during the project.
Who will lead the project?
The project is led by Marion Wood, Artistic Director of the Konzertchor Münster.
Where will rehearsals and concerts take place?
The final rehearsal and concert will be held in the beautiful Kammermusiksaal of the Philharmonie Berlin and will be part of the official program of the Philharmonie.
Rehearsals will take place at the Otto-Braun-Saal (Potsdamer Str. 37, 10785 Berlin) and at the Gustav-Adolf-Kirche (Herschelstraße 14, 10589 Berlin).
What costs are involved?
The participation fee for the festival for all registrations received until June 15, 2025 is 98 EUR per participant. The participation fee for all registrations received from June 16, 2025 is 110 EUR per participant.
Non-performing accompanying persons are offered a reduced participation fee of 55 EUR per person, which includes access to all rehearsals and tickets in the best category for the concerts, including the performance at the Berlin Philharmonie.
Accompanying persons, friends, and fans who only wish to attend the concerts can purchase tickets in our webshop.

Artistic Leadership
Marion Wood (Principal Conductor)
Marion Wood is Artistic Director of the Konzertchor Münster. She studied orchestral conducting at the Royal College of Music in London, following a degree in Music and Electrical Engineering at the University of Keele. Already during her studies she conducted multiple ensembles and was awarded for her musical leadership. She has conducted the Belfast Philharmonic Choir, the London Irish Symphony Orchestra, and the National Youth Orchestra of Ireland. Her rehearsal method—shaped by the Kodály concept and Estill Voice Technique—focuses on intonation and tone quality through a cappella work and string quartet accompaniment. Since 2014, she has taught music psychology, ensemble direction, and conducting technique at the University of Münster’s School of Music, where she also leads the Collegium Musicum choirs.
